

He is survived by two daughters, both of Colorado City: Jessica Smith Saldivar, and her husband Ramon, and Jennifer Smith Camp and her husband, Cade. He is also survived by two brothers: William Wade Smith and wife, Kleta, and Winston Wood Smith, Jr. Also, the joys of his life – his five grandsons: Ethan Camp, twins, Sam and Will Camp; Jacob Deen, and Marcus Saldivar.
Wesley was a Vietnam-Era veteran, who served in the US Army in the early 1970s. He was retired from a lengthy career in the oil industry, beginning as a roughneck for Riley Drilling Company, and ending in 20 years employment as an operator for Chevron Oil Company, including Chevron, USA, and Chevron Overseas Operations.
Wesley was preceded in death by his parents, Winston Wood Smith, Sr. and Icie Hulme Stephens, and sister-in-law, Brenda Kay Smith.
Memorial service will be held Thursday, February 21st at 2:00 PM in the Kiker-Seale Chapel.
