

Rudy Calderon was born on January 1st, 1957 to Rudy Sr. and Lydia Calderon. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend. He lived in Ontario CA until he married his high school sweetheart, Genevieve (Gigi) in 1980. They resided in Ontario CA, Fontana CA and finally settled in Moreno Valley CA for 36 years until his passing on Friday, July 31, 2026 at the age of 69.
They built a beautiful life together with their sons Eric and Phillip Calderon. His family was everything to him. He shared his love for sports, fishing and camping with his sons. He coached his sons’ baseball teams and enjoyed countless camping and fishing trips with family and friends.
He was kind and loving to anyone fortunate enough to have known him. He considered his friends family and made everyone feel welcome in his home. He was generous of his time and truly valued family and friends. He had a crazy sense of humor and laughed at his own jokes. He had an infectious laugh and kind spirit.
Rudy was preceded in death by his son Eric Calderon, his father Rudy Calderon Sr., his in-laws Luz and Jennie Chacon.
He is survived by his wife Gigi, son Phillip, daughter-in-law Kaylee and granddaughters Kennedy and Ellie Calderon. He is also survived by his late son Eric’s children, grandson Gage and granddaughters Emma and Hannah Calderon.
