I have fond memories of Bobby.  Wrestling  with Bobby n Rusty was so fun. Seems we’d  wrestle for hours on the living room floor at your house in Clinton.   We had a lot of fun & laughs with him and the girls.  
My deepest sympathies to Bobby’s  wife & children, Mrs Rigon, Rene, and Robin.

Rig was my boss in Germany. 

The year the Bears made it to the super bowl he invited me to his place to watch the game at 2 o’clock in the morning. We shared some crown Royal and cheered as Devin Hester ran the opening kick off back for a touchdown… the bears would go on to loose that game, but the memory with you will last a lifetime… 

He let me come in at noon the next day… which was a real treat compared to a normal 0630 formation call…

Then when I discharged from the Army, I was coming stateside from Germany and he let me stay with him in Carolina for a few days while I was in transit.

When he first took charge of our section and became my ‘boss’. I remember you could hear him coming from several rooms away (at the Aw Faw palace in Iraq) he was always so full of joy and enthusiasm and life. 

Folks would passively say how are you, and you could hear Rigs voice echo down the marble hallways “Just living the dream!!!” 

He always spoke highly of his mother and shared memories of going to movies with her. I know that is something he loved doing. 

I will keep Rig in my thoughts with the fondest of memories… They don’t make em like him anymore. 

You carried many titles across the span of our relationship… you were my boss, a Ranger, but most of all I like to consider you a friend. 

The impact you had on others will never be forgotten…!!!

Thank you for the lessons and the fond memories…!!!

My sincere condolences 💐 to Robert’s family and friends. Robert was a dear friend of my sons, SSgt. Gaetano Mortati and I had the extreme pleasure of meeting Robert and his beautiful daughter a few years back when he stayed at my home for a wonderful visit. He loved his football and was the funniest man ever. A real gentleman and beautiful person. My heart is broken for his family, he was taken way too soon. RIP soldier and thankyou for your service. ❤️🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️

Robert was a fear friend and colleague of mine. We worked extensively in Kuwait together, and went to Dubai for Xmas and New Year’s break. He came with his daughter to visit me in New York and we had a great time and enjoyed a New Year’s eve party on Long Island with my cousins.
I am so shocked and disbelief that he has passed on so young, his smile was truly contaminating. I send my deepest condolences to all his children, his wife Elizabeth and all his family and friends who will be missing surely. RIP Ranger RLTW

I am so sorry for your loss. I hope God comfort you during this difficult time.
Robert was one of my Senior Drill Sergeants while we were Drill Sergeant duty at Ft. Jackson. I remember his excitement when he found out I could run and call cadence. That was a bonding moment for us. 
Keeping you all in our prayers.

I first met Bob while in Germany back in the late 90's We had some great adventures together, across Germany and other places in Europe. I had the privilege of seeing him briefly while in Afghanistan in 2010. We remained in contact through the years through Facebook, and I enjoyed watching his continued adventures as well as his continued mentorship with Seebass. In Late July of this year, I had the privilege to finally meet back up with Bob while on a business trip to the area. The 6-7 hours that I spent catching up with Bob as well as finally meeting his wife, SeeBass (Sebastian) and his mother in Person are a memory I will cherish for the remainder of time. May one of the best men I ever had the privilege of meeting & serving with RIP, my condolences for the entire Rigon Family for their loss.

I am so sorry to hear of Bob’s passing.   He loved life and loved his family.   He was a really great human being  and will be missed.

Condolences to Bob's family and friends. We were 1SG's together at Ft. Jackson. The competition for the company with the best trainee stats was very real. We both contracted for MPRI after retirement. Bob was a character. His posts over the past few years highlighted his love and admiration for his boy. I looked forward to updates on all the track and field accomplishments. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.

It is through Rene that we met Bob, who was such a force of nature!  What an absolutely awesome guy. Our hearts and prayers go out to Beth, Rene, Marsha, Robin and the entire family who will miss him every day.  We are here for you at anytime!  We love you and our hearts are broken for you.

Im so sorry for the loss of Bobby !
Ill miss our back and forth messages talking about sports and politics. I had the privilege of talking to him just last Saturday thanking him for all the direction he was giving my son in law that wants to pursue a career in the same area Bobby was in . Im still shocked your gone but i was and am so honored to have called you my friend since our High school days .
