

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Anne Bradshaw Davis Michaux, 95, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2022 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Michaux died Monday, July 25, 2022. Born in Goldsboro, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Daniel David and Edna Allen Bradshaw. She received an associate’s degree from Women’s College of North Carolina and worked for 20 years for the University of S.C. She loved to play bridge and was a lifetime master duplicate bridge player. A former member of Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, she was currently a member of St. Michaels Episcopal Church in Goldsboro. When she was able, she sang in the church choir.
Surviving are two sons, Gary A. Davis (Patty) of Goose Creek, S.C., Leslie Earl Davis of Columbia; three stepchildren, Macon W. Michaux Jr. (Martha), Molly Simmons (Chris), Mary Coleman (Wylie); two grandchildren, Richard B. Davis II (DJ), Katherine Anne Davis; stepgrandchildren, Molly Monroy (Gabe), Wylie Coleman Jr. (Casey), Mary Katherine Conaty (Peter), Robbie Simmons, Anna Simmons, Reese Simmons, Hunley Michaux, Makie Michaux, David Michaux, three great-grandchildren, Charlie Anne Davis, Grey Coleman, June Coleman. She was predeceased by two husbands, Leslie C. “Bo” Davis Jr. and Macon W. Michaux; a son, Richard Bradshaw Davis; grandson, Garret David Davis; a brother, Daniel David Bradshaw Jr.; and sister-in-law, Lorena Bradshaw.
