A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Private interment will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Barbara was born January 23, 1944 in Columbia to the late Nolan Tyree and Jeanette Lucy Russell. She was retired as a bookkeeper from Phenix Supply Company. Barbara was devoted to her family and cherished time with them, especially her grandbabies.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory Nelson Wilson, Sr. and her brother, Nolan Tyree Russell, Jr.
Those left to cherish her memories include her son, Tony L. Altman; daughter, Amanda Leigh Murphy; two grandchildren, Christopher Michael Altman, and Trenton Daniel Coffey; sisters, Anne McCoy, Noleen Tucker, Faye Corbitt, Bunny Fleaner; and brother, Ray Russell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amanda Murphy.
