Bernice Anderson Ball

A funeral service for Bernice Anderson Ball, 102, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at Lebanon United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mrs. Ball passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Born in Grand Forks, North Dakota, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Melvin Anderson and Hazel Bell Thompson Anderson. She worked in Civil Services at Fort Jackson until she retired. Bernice was a member of the Lexington Country Club Bridge Club and Eastern Star. She was also a member of Lebanon UMC.

Surviving are her son, David M. Ball and daughter-in-law, Susan Ball of North Augusta, GA; four grandchildren; one step-grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by husband, Narciss Leonard “Butch” Ball, her son, Dale L. Ball, and daughter-in-law, Jill Ball.
