Betty Mae Rollings Williams

COLUMBIA Funeral service for Betty Mae Rollings Williams, 71, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2014, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at the funeral home. Mrs. Williams passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, October 13, 2014. Born in Albermarle, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Earl Robert Shue and Nadine Elizabeth and Edison J. Rollings. She was of the Baptist faith and loved her family. She also enjoyed dancing, fishing, bowling and never turned away a stray cat or dog from her home. In addition she loved the mountains, the beach and was an AVID Elvis fan. Surviving are her daughters, Kathy Williams (Tom Boruk) of Columbia, Trisha Riddick of Leesville; grandchildren, Chris Galloway of Virginia, Eddie and Stephanie Riddick of Leesville; brother, Jimmy Rollings (Kay) of Jamesville, N.C.; sister, Ann Langford of Blythewood; aunt, Aileen Self of West Columbia. In addition to her parents and step-father, she was predeceased by her husband, Marion Durant Williams in 1991; and a grandson, P.J. Riddick, III in 2005.
