I was sorry to hear about Beverly. Our families were good friends and we grew up together. I remember her grandfather and grandmother Mr. Jim H. Young and his wife Eloise. I had many good meals at their house years ago.

I remember living in the dorm in college with Thomas, I looked forward to getting Ms. Lanham's food care package filled with all my favorites. As a broker than broke, out of state, struggling college kid in the late 80's, I couldn't forget Ms. Lanham if I wanted. She was THE sweetheart of all sweethearts! May she rest in peace.

Lanham Family,

Your mama was the sweetest lady ever. I grew up being around your mama. I was a teenager and I loved going down to visit with her. May your fond memories of all the good times y'all had give you comfort in the days to come. God bless you all.
