COLUMBIA – A graveside service for Bobby Lamonde Glass, 89, will be conducted by Dr. Joey Karoly at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 12, 2021 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
Mr. Glass died Sunday, January 24, 2021. Born in Newberry, he was a son of the late William Patrick and Beatrice Mayo Glass. A graduate of Olympia High School, he worked for AT&T until he retired. He was an U.S. Air Force Veteran. Bobby was a loving husband, father, uncle, and friend.
Surviving are his nephew, Craig Glass of Ridgeway and nieces, Molly R. Wilson, Janet S. Russell, Bonnie Phillips, and Kelly Ridgell. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Jackie Glass, and 2 sons, Ronnie Glass and Carey Glass.
