COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Bonnie L. Brown, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 15, 2016, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Ms. Brown died Tuesday, February 9, 2016. Born in Moselle, MS, she was a daughter of the late William Walley and Annie Backstrom Walley. She was the owner and operator of Bonnie Brown Realty. Surviving are her sons, Jerry D. Brown (Marilyn D.) of Pelion, Michael D. Brown of Nashville, TN and Dennis R. Brown of Columbia; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and sister, Lurlene “Teenie” Beasley of Richton, MS. She was predeceased by sons, Luther Lamar Brown and Tommy Gene Brown; and granddaughter, Kimrell Brown.
