I had the pleasure of working with Charlie in CAE at Daimler.  He was one of the nicest and most thoughtful persons I've ever worked with.  He always had a cheerful disposition and was always eager to give a kind word and offer friendly advice.  He'd never uttered an unkind word no matter the situation.  Charlie gave the impression of being grateful for the good things that life had given him.  Charlie epitomized what it meant to be a family man. I was shocked and saddened to hear of his sudden passing.   Charlie was both a role model and an example of how a person should lead their life. He left quite an impression on me and will always be remembered with fondness.
