Chris passed away on June 22, 2026. Born in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Roger Allen Carter and Kathy Prince Carter. He worked as a mechanic at Sunbelt Rentals. Chris was a member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral. He was an avid Gamecock fan who enjoyed hunting with his grandfather.
Surviving are his father, Roger Allen Carter (Katherine); mother, Kathy Prince Carter; son, Cayman Lee Austin Carter; brother, Roger A. Carter, II (Heather); sister, Rachel Diane Hill; grandmother, J. Carole Carter; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, William “Billy” Prince and Patricia S. Prince.
