My deepest condolences to the entire family and continued prayers. I saw him in passing at dance, he always had a smile, just happy to be there with his family. Just a genuinely happy man.  I loved seeing how much he loved Hannah and his children. Rest in peace Chris. You will not be forgotten, thank you for your service.

My prayers go out to your family. I didn’t know Chris for long but he was an amazing man and always checked in on me as I was starting my career in law enforcement. He cared about everyone. I still can’t believe I just saw you a few weeks ago when you were down on vacation.

Not knowing what someone looks like without a smile on their face has to speak volumes to their personality. While I didn’t know Chris well or for much time, he always had a smile on his face and was just a blessing to be around and speak with.

I didn’t know Chris very well, I only knew him through Hannah. But that was enough to know that he was a GOOD husband and father.
Hannah has never once spoken ill of him and I only ever saw the love he had for her and their children.
For a wife to speak so profoundly of her husband, that he’s known in my life solely through her words, speaks volumes of the man he was.
I would run into him in town and speak because even though he didn’t know me, I knew him and I knew he’d tell Hannah “Jess said hi. And she asked how we were doing and how the kids were.”
Everytime I saw them together, I could just see the love and joy they had with their little family.
I pray God showers Hannah, Stella, and Sutton with strength and love during this time.
None of us understand, ALL of us wish it would’ve ended differently, but we also can ALL say he was and is loved even til the end.

Hannah, I am so incredibly sorry for the loss of Chris. There truly are no words for something this heartbreaking. My heart aches for you, your two children, and your entire family as you face such an unimaginable loss.

Chris’s courage, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten. I can only imagine how deeply loved he was as a husband, father, son, friend, and officer, and how much he meant to everyone who knew him.

I am praying for you and your children, that you are surrounded by love, strength, and support in the days ahead. May the memories you shared with Chris bring you comfort, and may you always feel how deeply his life and legacy touched so many people.

The last memories I have of Chris share a depiction of what true love is. Those memories are pictured through the halls of our shared technical school. Every day, Chris could be seen walking the love of his life, Hannah, to Cosmetology class. There was never a time where the two of them were without the other. The love, dedication, and passion that he felt for her was always evident in the way that he looked at her— along with his words and actions. They were truly soulmates. I am so privileged to have witnessed the beautiful match that they were. My deepest condolences go out to Hannah, Stella, and Sutton. May God and our community cover and watch over their family, forever.

For 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of going to Hannah for my hair, and throughout that time, I heard nothing but wonderful things about Chris. I was fortunate to know him personally through his visits to the salon, where we’d often chat about his life and experiences as a CPD officer.

Selfless is the word that comes to mind when I think of Chris. He was an incredible father, husband, and human being. A devoted provider to his family and a dedicated servant to our community.

My heart is devastated for Hannah and their children. Chris was their protector on earth, and I pray they find comfort knowing he will forever be their guardian angel.

Praying for Hannah, their children, and everyone who loved Chris. May he rest peacefully and never be forgotten. 🙏🕊️🪽

Chris, I’m proud to have gotten to know you and train with you. You were a fine police officer, husband, father, and an example for many. You and the fine folks around you made training something special. I will never forget the memories we share. I will now pray for your family, friends, and co workers. You have many people that care and love you. Your legacy lives on in the many many people you have came in contact with. I will say a special prayer for your two little ones and wife.
