Christopher Sheldon Salas Jr.
March 26, 1999 – February 18, 2021
COLUMBIA - Christopher Sheldon Salas Jr., 21, died Thursday, February 18, 2021. Born in Lexington County, SC, he was a son of Meredith Paige Coleman and Christopher Sheldon Salas, Sr. Sheldon attended Irmo High School and was a graduate of SC Virtual Charter School. He loved online video games.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Dillon Alexzander Coleman; maternal grandparents, Richard and Wanda Coleman; paternal grandmother, Elaine Richardson; aunt, Adrienne Farell (Jake); and uncle, Robbie Collins.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Columbia Student Ministries, 1306 Hampton St, Columbia, SC 29201, or Gideons International, P.O. Box 97251, Washington, DC 20090-7251.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 26, 2021 at First Baptist Church, Columbia, SC in Boyce Chapel. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Memories may be shared at www.dunbarfunerals.com

What a sweet little boy he was. I remember so well all the fun we had playing "where is Sheldon?"
when I would come to Aunt Elsie's. Last night I dreamed about all the aunts and even uncle Rhylan were in a room nothing going on just knew they were there. I take this dream as a sign that they were all there to welcome Sheldon. I am so sorry for this loss. God bless each of you and know that I love you
