COLUMBIA - Memorial service for Danny Hodges, 77, will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, December 6, 2014, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, with burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is in charge. Mr. Hodges died Tuesday, November 25, 2014. Born in Lynch, Ky., he was a son of the late Paul O. Hodges and Addie Mae Roberts Hodges. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Hodges enjoyed returning to Lynch High School for reunions of the class of 1957, loved watching football and was an avid Gamecock fan. Surviving are his son, Timothy R. Hodges of Ky., Ralph D. Hodges of Columbia; daughter, Dana Hodges of Columbia; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandson. He was predeceased by his wife, Helen Hodges.
