Mrs. Donnie Faye Pryor

COLUMBIA - Funeral service for Donnie "Donna" Cothran Pryor, 69, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 17, 2015, at Woodfield Park Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Pryor passed away Monday, April 13, 2015. She was born on August 27, 1945 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late Woodrow Wilson Cothran and Phedonia Epps Cothran. She pursued her passion in cosmetology and graduated from Farah's Beauty College in 1965. Throughout her life she was a homemaker and caregiver to her family and parents with some time spent as a cosmetologist and Mary Kay Consultant. She had a passion for all things "crafty" and enjoyed making jewelry as well as repurposing just about anything, turning it from trash to treasure. Her greatest love and desire was her family and time spent with them. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church for about 20 years and Woodfield Park Baptist Church for over 40. Donna is survived by her sons, James "Jim" E. Pryor, Jr. (Jennifer) of Lexington, Woodrow "Woody" Michael Pryor (Katie) of Blythewood; daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Annette Pryor Gambino (Matt) of Kennesaw, GA; seven grandchildren and a great grandchild. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Bonnie Cothran Warner (Don) of Lexington. She was predeceased by her husband, James Edward Pryor, Sr. (1996).
