COLUMBIA Memorial service for Dorothy Glass Taylor, 89, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Taylor died Sunday, October 4, 2015. Born in Magella, Ala., she was a daughter of the late Olen E. and Marie Rutherford Glass. She volunteered at the VA Hospital and was a member of V.F.W., Post 641 Auxillary and MOCA Auxillary. Surviving are her son, Steven E. Taylor of Asheville, N.C. and a sister, Anne Lenoir of Maplesville, Ala. She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd E. Taylor; brother, Oliver Warr and a sister, Ellen Fuller. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
