Dr. Jack Lloyd Kilgore Jr.

Dr. Jack L. Kilgore, Jr. DDS, of Columbia, SC, died on Saturday, July 12th, 2026.

Jack was born on October 12th, 1951 to Jack and Anna J. Kilgore in Columbia, SC.

He was a 1973 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.

Jack went on to receive his DDS from MUSC in Charleston, and later earned a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina.

He practiced dentistry and oral surgery for many years in Columbia, and then in Bristol, Tennessee.

Jack was an avid Gamecock football fan and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Jack was predeceased by his father, Jack Kilgore, Sr., and brother, Greg Kilgore.

He is survived by his mother, Anna J. (AJ) Kilgore; brothers, Glen (Kathy) and Patrick (Ramona); daughter, Rebecca Lancaster (Chris); grandchildren, Turner, Rhett, and Wade; nephew, Glen P. Kilgore; niece, Katy Brown (Andrew), and two great nieces, Lila and Katherine.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 17th, 2026 at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Serenity Gardens, 6601 Windwan Drive, Columbia, SC 29209.
