Elizabeth Lee Monteith

Graveside Services will be held for family and close friends 12:00 p.m. Sunday, January 30, in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 845 Leesburg Road, Columbia, SC 29209.

Ms. Monteith was born May 6, 1941 in Columbia, SC to Robin L. and Henrietta Jackson Monteith.

Betsy lived a life of service and truly possessed a servant’s heart. She was selfless with the needs of others. Betsy was loving and kind towards all she met.

Betsy truly lived a life with a daily walk with her Lord Jesus. She was an active member of First Baptist Church who loved her church family and her early involvements with GA’s.

Betsy worked for South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation for 32 years. During this time, she held different jobs and received various awards for her accomplishments. She also found joy in volunteering for many years at Baptist Hospital.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister, Ann M. Fallaw and her husband Billy K. Fallaw. Survivors, include her sister, Robin M. Breazeale and her husband Dan Breazeale, and many nieces and nephews.
