My heart goes out to Lisa, Pati, and the entire Melton family. Eloise was a southern lady and I cherish the time I worked with her at the Baruch Institute. She was charming and witty, and always was fun to be around. She made my six years of graduate school at the University a much better experience! A true Gamecock fan! I know she and my parents are in heaven cheering along side each other during every Gamecock game. I am glad she got to see the baseball team win two national championships and the women's basketball win one last year as well! I will remember all the good times we had at Baruch and when we met up to tailgate before the home football games.

Lisa & Pati, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I had the privilege of working with her at Crawford Door Co. in the 70's and we kept in touch through the years. She was what I would call a real "Southern Lady". We had so much fun working together and she taught me so much... she was a gem!

As one of Eloise's colleagues at the Baruch Institute, I remember well her beautiful smile offered to all visitors. She was so proud of her twins. She would talk forever about them! And talk about being a Gamecock fan... Eloise was exuberant to distraction and would give Clemson fans their due. I know I speak for others when I say that Eloise was a huge part of the legacy for the Baruch Institute and we were lucky to have had her with us. With my deepest sympathy. Dr. Robert J. Feller, Interim Director, 1994.
