COLUMBIA - Emily Ann Hindersman, 97, beloved wife of the late Charles C. Hindersman, died Saturday, August 13, 2016. Surviving are her son, Dr. John Hindersman; stepdaughter, Margaret Stephens (James), grandchildren, James Hindersman (Candace), Alison McCarthy, Terri Shuffield (Steven); great-grandchildren, Mollie and Reilly McCarthy, Bradford, Pierce, and Rhodes Hindersman; and sister-in-law, Mary Schultye. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Ralph Scott and brother, Matthew Schultye. Memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank the staff of the Forest Lake Atria for their professional, compassionate, and loving care. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
