Esther Davis Pearman

A memorial service for Esther Davis Pearman, 84, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023 at Eastminster Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Carol Byrd and the Rev. Dr. Bradley Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends after the memorial service at the church.

Ms. Pearman died Saturday, June 10, 2023. Born in Florence, she was the daughter of the late William Washington and Beverly Carrigan Davis, growing up in Summerton, SC. Ms. Pearman was an active member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church, serving as an ordained deacon and elder. She taught Sunday School and served on many committees and was awarded an honorary membership in Presbyterian Women.

Surviving are twin sister, Beverly Davis Mims, of Columbia, SC, her son, Dr. Silas N. Pearman III and his partner Reece Lyerly of Providence, RI; daughter, Beverly Carrigan Pearman of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Silas N. Pearman IV (Nathan) and his wife Hannah of Greenville, SC; Sara Kathleen Wyatt and her husband Spencer of Hickory Grove, SC; and Wilda Kate Loomis, of Portland, OR.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Harmony Senior Living and NHC Parklane for the care that they have provided to her over the past five years along with her church family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Eastminster Presbyterian Church or Furman University.
