Euenla Hancock Sloan

COLUMBIA - Euenla Hancock Sloan, widow of George Allen Sloan, passed away on Friday, May 21, 2021. Born and raised in Camden, SC, she was the daughter of the late Harmon and Lutie McCathrew Hancock. Euenla was an active member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church. A 1950 graduate of Columbia Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse.

Surviving are her son, Allen H. Sloan; daughter, Susan S. Leitner and her husband, Kyle R. Leitner; grandchildren, Jason A. Sloan (Wallyce), Katelyn S. Leitner, and Kolby R. Leitner; great-grandson, Sylar Sloan. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, and grandson, Kole R. Leitner.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Ebenezer Lutheran Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. one hour prior in the church fellowship hall.
