Mrs. Al-Assaad has fallen asleep into the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 10, 2025. Born in Syria, she was the daughter of the late Naim Abraham Alassaad and Majlia Jubran Alassaad. She was a member of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, St. Katherine’s Philoptochos, and the Daughters of Penelope. Ghada enjoyed classical music, watching ice skating, and the ballet. She was extremely thrilled to attend and see her favorite artist, Andrea Bocelli. She enjoyed being with her 3 grandchildren the most. She loved cooking and many would say she was the best cook. Ghada will be remembered for her generosity and hospitality. She treated the Sheriff’s department, delivery drivers, postal service, and garbage men with baklava and soft drinks. She never met a stranger and treated everyone with kindness and graciousness.
Surviving are her husband, Ziad Alassaad; children, Timothy Alexander (Rima), Nadine Alassaad, and Ronnie Alexander (Joy); and granddaughters, Anna Maria Alexander, Isabella Alexander, and Kinley Alexander.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brothers, Ghassan and Adnan.
