Gladys Carolyn Crider Freeman

COLUMBIA - A graveside service for Carolyn Crider Freeman, 84, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Freeman died Sunday, August 5, 2018. Born in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Daniel Lee Crider and Willie Mae Driggers Crider. She was retired from Palmetto Baptist Hospital Cafeteria.

Surviving are her sons, James B. Freeman, Jr. (Kathy) of Lexington and Kenneth L. Freeman of Columbia; daughter, Kim F. Lovell (Buddy) of Columbia; sisters, Joan Carter of Columbia and Joyce Sharpe of Leesville; two grandchildren, Tara F. Beard (Tim) of Lexington and Matthew J.L. Lovell (Sara) of Columbia; five great-grandchildren, T.J. Beard, Travis Lee Beard and Taylar C. Beard, all of Lexington, and Noah Hubbard and Nickolas Hubbard, both of Columbia.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James Boyd Freeman; sisters, Edith Miles and Helen Newman; and brother, Alonzo Crider.
