Born in Charleston, SC on March 1, 1953, Grady was a son of the late William Wesley North, Sr. and Hazel Elizabeth Heatley.
Grady was a graduate of Moultrie High School and Midlands Technical College. He worked for the Muzak Corp in the southeast and started Noble Electronics in 1991. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Grady enjoyed metal detecting, wood working and fishing.
Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Stephanie Ann North; son, Grady Cleveland North, Jr. (Jan) of Charleston; grandson, Grayson North; and sister, Jean Corbett (Johnnie).
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private inurnment will take place in St. Joseph Catholic Church Memorial Gardens. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
