COLUMBIA - Harriet Joan Barocas, 85, died Friday, November 10, 2023 in New York City. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of Sam Lederman and Lottie Leibowitz Lederman. She was formerly an active member and served as Vice President of a Fundraising Committee of Beth Shalom Synagogue.
Surviving are her spouse, Martin Barocas; three sons, Richard Barocas, Jeff Barocas (Lila), and Victor Barocas (Deborah); and two grandsons, Martin Laurence Barocas and Matthew Barocas.
A private graveside service will be held in Beth Shalom Arcadia Lakes Cemetery.
