COLUMBIA - A memorial service for James David Gaston, 69, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Event Center, 2901 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC 29204. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mr. Gaston passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019. Born in Forest City, NC on January 30, 1949, he was the son of the late T.J. Gaston and Lola Reed Gaston.
Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Horton; children, James David Gaston, Jr. (Watson) of East Hartford, Connecticut, Iris Gaston of Greenville and Chastity Carson (William) of Columbia; sisters, Margaret and Deborah; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
