EASTOVER - Funeral service for James Young, 68, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2016, at McLeod United Methodist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mr. Young died Saturday, January 16, 2016. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Samuel Rembert Young Jr. and Alice Kelley Young. A graduate of Lower Richland High School, he retired as a maintenance worker for Richland County School District One. He was a member of McLeod UMC and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Surviving are his brothers, Sammy Young and Ray Young, both of Eastover; sister, Joyce Young, also of Eastover; special friends, Kim Jordan (Danny), Amanda, Austin, Brody, and Jim Hunt.
