Born in Columbia, South Carolina, JoAnne was a devoted mother and grandmother who cherished her family deeply. She is lovingly remembered by her children, Teresa Turner and Barry Turner, her beloved granddaughter, Heather Boyter, who brought her immense joy, her surviving siblings, Bobby Braxton and Jackie Raby, and her niece, Cindy Braxton Aughtry. JoAnne also shared a special bond with her furry companion, a dog named Sibby, who held a cherished place in her heart. Her warmth, love, and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with JoAnne’s wishes, the family will hold a private burial to honor her memory in an intimate setting.
