Carlisle kelly was truly one of a kind, his sense of humor and gentle character will always remain unmatched. He was everything anyone could ever ask for in a best friend. He was the kind of person who i would spend everyday 24/7 with and never get tired of. His caring personality always made me feel so loved, and he has really taught me so much about how to treat people in life. He was so loved by everyone, and especially his dog monday. I have never met a dog owner with a better bond than what carlisle and monday had. almost everyday i would walk with them to melrose park while carlisle rode his long board and monday walked alongside him holding the frisbe. carlisle would always stay at the park until monday was too tired to fetch, and then on the way out carlisle would always help monday get a drink of water from the water fountain. Not only did carlisle take so much care of his dog, but i’ve never had anyone care for and look out for me in the same way that carlisle did. i can’t even stress enough how much carlisle truly cared for me and all of his friends well being. just the other day, carlisle convinced me to go on a 5 mile walk, and anyone who knows me knows that is not something i would ever do. But there was just something about carlisle’s approach to everything that was so encouraging and motivating. Anything that he set his mind to and wanted to do, he never fell short accomplishing it. I watched him pick up countless hobbies on a whim thanks to his incredible determination. He never was not busy making the most of his time working on something new. He was by far one of the smartest people I have and will ever meet, and he truly has taught me more about how to live life and treat others than anyone has. He has made such an incredible impact on me in all of the best ways possible, everything I do from now on will be a reflection of all things he’s taught me.

Carlisle was an amazing young man, he had a great sense of humor. It's because of my jealousy as his teacher in how quickly he solved the rubix cube that I spent a week watching YouTube videos to learn how to solve it for myself. Carlisle left me and went to high school so I couldn't keep depending on him to leave me only one turn left to say I solved it. He will definitely be missed. Ms. Kelly your Montessori family is here for you and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Carlisle,

I still remember when you were a shy boy playing on our street. I was so lucky to later have the opportunity to teach you in middle school. Sanders Montessori teachers mourn the loss of such a great child. We are sending our love to Donna as well.

My adopted son! One who we absolutely adored. The one who welcomed my son with open arms when we moved to the neighborhood. The one who would ride his skateboard and walk his dog Monday to see my younger kid. The one who taught my 9 year old to love soccer!! The one who we grew to love as our own. This is just unreal. I can’t believe this. We love you Carlisle and will miss you so much! Thank you for being the best friend my son Jay could ever have. You will forever be in our thoughts! PS Xan still has your soccer ball he took from you when you were playing with him :(

One of the happiest individuals I knew. He was with me in elementary school, and while I knew him, he was always someone that you loved to be around. He will be missed.
