I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Josh. He was a great person who was extremely intelligent and who also had very high ethical standards. It was an honor to have the opportunity to get to know him and to be able to work with him.  You will be missed.

I knew Joshua for a brief period many years ago when we were both looking for roommates.  He was always very kind and respectful, and was a great house mate.  I especially remember how devoted Joshua was to his work.  He loved people and cared deeply for their well-being.  Rest in peace, dear friend.

Josh was a great man to those who knew him as a friend.  We are all going to miss you so much.  It will be hard knowing you are not with us any longer.  Josh was an incredible American warrior.  He served in the Army Infantry, completed Army Ranger School, and also served as an Army Special Forces Medic.  Josh was a brilliant man with exceptional Intellect.  He worked for a number of years in the Columbia area as a paramedic and at Providence Hospital for a time.  Additionally he had worked in the Lancaster area while a paramedic.  There are people alive today that are here because of Josh's valiant efforts to save them.  Josh had worked for the VA in Columbia his last ten years and was well known there.  Josh will be buried at Fort Jackson National Cemetery at 12:00 noon October 5th, 2018.   We will salute you one last time then and gather with friends afterward to remember you Josh.  You will be missed.
