Judith Ferreri Devens

A graduate of Hunter College in New York, Judy embraced life with energy and curiosity. In her early years she enjoyed golfing, sailing, and traveling, always appreciating the adventure of new places and experiences. More than anything, she cherished time spent with family and friends. Her happiest moments were often the simplest ones — laughing with her grandchildren, gathering with loved ones, and enjoying lively card games with friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John G. Ferreri; her parents, Natalino and Margaret Carilli; her brother, Roger Carilli; and her sister-in-law, Jody Carilli.

Judy is survived by her brothers, Ronald (Lorraine) Carilli and Gary Carilli; her children, Karen (Tom) Bailey, John (Jonolyn) Ferreri, and Elizabeth (Stephen) Wilcox. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Justin (Liz) Kieley, Megan Kieley, Hannah Whitlark, Natalie Whitlark, Jack (Channing) Ferreri, and Jamie (Taylor) Ferreri. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Peyton Kieley, Trace Ferreri, Graham Ferreri, and Rhett Ferreri, who brought her great joy.

Judy will be laid to rest beside her husband at J.F. Floyd Cemetery in Spartanburg, South Carolina, during a private family service.
