Karin Müller Salisbury

Karin Müller Salisbury, 78, of Columbia, SC died on February 8, 2025. Karin was born on June 27, 1946 in Offenbach am Main, Germany the daughter of Franz and Katharina Müller. She is preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, William (Bill) Ronald Salisbury. Karin is survived by her 3 children, David Salisbury, Karina Coffer (Casey), Thomas Salisbury, and the loves of her life, her 4 grandchildren; Katie Coffer, Allie Coffer, Claire Salisbury, and Cooper Salisbury.

Growing up in post-war Germany, Karin worked as a seamstress in a local textile factory. She met Bill outside a movie theater when he was stationed in Germany with the Army. They were married in 1964 and Karin became an American citizen in 1985. She was an avid dog lover who could not turn away a stray. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, bowling, walking, and gardening. More than anything she enjoyed spending time with her family.

The family is very appreciative of the staff at MSA Hospice and other caregivers for their kind and compassionate care.

Services will be private. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
