

A celebration of life service for Kathryn Baldwin Trewhella will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, with a private burial in the church memorial gardens. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
Kitty was a loving, servant-hearted person who treasured her family and cared for her special needs daughter through her last breath. Her devotion was inspirational to all who knew her, as she always placed the needs of others above her own. Her faith in the Lord was most beautifully displayed by the special ways she loved and served her family and others.
Kitty was a graduate of the University of South Carolina. She was a founding and active member of Forest Lake Presbyterian Church. She loved playing tennis and just being outdoors, whether in her yard or at the beach or mountains.
Born in Clinton, SC, she was the daughter of the late Walter Paul Baldwin and Elizabeth McMillian Baldwin. She was preceded in death by five siblings she dearly loved.
Kitty enjoyed 61 wonderful years of marriage to Stephen “Steve” William Trewhella. Steve preceded her in death, as did their son,Stephen William Trewhella, Jr.
She is survived by her daughters, Terry Trewhella Chronister; Mary Alice Trewhella; son, Paul Baldwin Trewhella (Michele); grandchildren, Kathryn Elizabeth Chronister, Chesley Trewhella Farnham (David), Sarah Trewhella Dasher (Brandon), Ashley Trewhella Rabon (Charles), Valerie Trewhella Bost (Cody), and Brandon Paul Trewhella. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren James Stephen LaRose, William Arthur LaRose , Liam Stephen Dasher, Lyla Ann Farnham, James Daniel Dasher and Addison Marie Farnham.
