Lacey Renee Cortese

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with Reverend Richard D. Harris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Lacey was born April 6, 1976 to Ken and Evelyn Fuhr in Charleston, SC. She was the recipient of a master’s degree from USC. Lacey was a devoted wife and mother, she was loyal and faithful and will be remembered for her smile, wit and sarcasm. She possessed the heart of an artist exploring photography and designing personalized cross stiches for those she loved. She was rarely seen without a book in hand and enjoyed escaping to the world of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. Lacey was particularly fond of dragons and cats both big and small.

She is predeceased by her father, Ken and brother, Roy. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Vince, son, Dante, her cat, Hobbes, mother, Evelyn, sisters, Lisa and Denise and multiple extended family members and friends.
