Thank you for the many laughs, Laura, when you and I were able to connect. I wish I had found more opportunities to be able to hang out with you but I will definitely cherish the time we did have interacting together while working, at the annual work event and just chatting or at our lunch outings.

I have heard many people say, ‘What kind of difference can I make?’ Well one person can and you definitely did. You touched many people and helped so many animals while here with us. Bless you for everything! You rest now until we meet again!

Steadfast friend for many years and I always knew you were there if I called to share a laugh or a cry....or a gin. I so hope you knew how many people you touched and how we all love you...still.

Laura with my granddaughter. I love this picture. She was a wonderful "aunt" to my daughter and grandkids.

We have lost a bright light, but that light remains in all of us who knew and loved and were impacted by this amazing, fierce, brave soul. Personally and selfishly, I’m not sure what to do without her, because I can’t imagine a world without her in it. But our pain and the shock at the suddenness will eventually subside, leaving the sound of her laughter and the warmth of her love and the gratitude for having known her.

Enjoyed many years working with Laura at BCBSSC. Laura also enjoyed hearing local bands. One of the bands included my sister, Susan Mullikin and friend, Linda Ewing. We will miss her dearly.

We will miss her humor, her quick wit, her smile, her warmth, the love she showed and shared. She brought joy and happiness to all who knew her and to the many dogs she fostered and adopted. This world is a better place for her having been here. Rest in peace, dear Laura.

I worked with Laura at Indus in the UK, she was a great lady, always cheerful and a lovely dry sense of humour. She then moved to the states with Indus and then got involved with her Furry Friends, she has always brought joy to anyone who crossed her path, heart of gold.

Will miss you loads, god blees my friend taken too soon xx

My husband and I knew Laura both as a colleague and a friend. We spent some fun times at The Bleak House as we had birthdays only one day apart, so on many occasion, celebrated together. We stayed with her on numerous occasions at her place in Mitcham, always a fun time and a good catch up after we had moved abroad. Laura was a witness at our wedding. We have many memories of her that will always stay with us. RIP Laura, we will miss you, but we treasure the time that you were with us. Our heartfelt condolences to your family, but like us, I hope that they celebrate your life, rather than mourn your departing, hard though it will be. Goodbye our friend xxx
