

Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he was a son of the late Damiano Pirulli and Lorenza Bozzi Pirulli. He served in the U.S. Army. He was a longtime federal employee as a boiler plant operator at the VA hospital at both the West Haven, CT, and Columbia, SC locations.
Dino had a great love of music of all kinds, and enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, the NY Mets, Washington Commanders, and was also a fan of UCONN college basketball.
Surviving are his wife, Jill Pirulli; his six children, Nick (Barbara), Anthony (Dandara), Michael, Matthew (Roma), Angelina, Dominick; three brothers, Peter (Debbie), Anthony (Justine), Mario (Lana); and grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2025 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 1:30 p.m.
