Diane was born on November 7, 1946 in Cartersville, Georgia to her parents, the late David H. Turner and Fannie Dee Moore.
She was known as Diane, Anna, Mother “The Doctor” by her friends and family. Described by her four grandchildren who knew her best as strong, smart, caring, loving, putting others first, independent, and ambitious, she believed in hard love.
Diane’s proudest moments included traveling the world, cooking, education, and becoming a mother and grandmother.
Diane lived in 5 states and moved 16 times, always very active in church at each stop.
An avid Golfer and Tennis player, Diane spent most of her time learning new recipes, reading, studying, taking photos, and teaching her grandchildren about their family history. Her goal in life was to learn something new each day.
Her honesty, bravery, independence, selflessness, dedication, organization, and neatness are what her family and friends loved about her the most.
She outsmarted everyone in the room, was brutally honest, and gave everyone a life lesson. Always with snacks, she often made everything healthy including our birthday cakes.
Diane is survived by her husband Bill, her son Brian and wife Scott, four grandchildren Ashton, Turner, Charlotte (Charley), and Savannah, and her brothers David Turner Jr. and Debbie, Phillip Turner and his wife, Earlene.
There will be no services. She wanted all her friends to just remember the good times they had together.
