

Lois was an active member at Dentsville Baptist church in Columbia for many years and was an intricate part of Nationwide Insurance Company for 20 years. She and her husband, Leo, were proud supporters of the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home and actively participated in donating their time and love to past and current children as well as and attending and assisting in organizing reunions and other functions.
Preceding her in death are her mother Laura Warr Kyall and father Albert J Kyall, sister Callie Burnside, brother Harry Kyall, husband Leo Banks, and middle son Philip Banks.
She left a legacy of her faith and love in Jesus Christ throughout everyone she met. Her giving spirit and servant attitude has left a beautiful place in all of our hearts.
She is survived by her children Jeffrey Banks (Jamee) and Gregory Banks (Gena); her grandchildren Aaron Banks, Jennifer Price (John), Jillian Banks, Halston Banks (Bianca), and Hayden Banks; her great-grandchildren Jackson Price, Jameson Price, and Gabriella Banks, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, June 23, 2023 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Elmwood Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Connie Maxwell Children’s Home.
