GASTON - A funeral service for Lula Janette Rabon, 81, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Horrell Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends all day Monday, November 30, 2015, at the family residence, 107 Bethune Court, Gaston, SC 29053. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mrs. Rabon died Saturday, November 28, 2015. Born in Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Jessie Earvin Wilson and Mary Ellen Aaron. She retired from Shakespeare Company. Surviving are her children, Julian “Ricky” Rabon (Bonnie), Randel M. “Randy” Rabon (Sandy), and Lisa Phillips (Brian); sister, Earline Fery; brother, Luther Franklin “Frank” Wilson; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Rabon; six brothers and two sisters.
