COLUMBIA - A visitation for Mana Paul Cochran, 93, will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Ms. Cochran died Friday, January 22. 2016. Born in Saluda, she was daughter of the late Paul McMichael Connor and Mana Earl Anderson. After attending University of South Carolina and Auburn University, she was an art teacher at Airport High School, Ladsen Elementary and Middleton High School. Ms. Cochran was an accomplished artist and an extremely avid gardener. She traveled with her military husband to Mexico, England and across the United States. Surviving are her daughters, Mana Hewitt (Steven) of Columbia and Paula Dennis of AL; son, Bishop Cochran (Dana) of Spain; granddaughters, Vanessa Grubbs (Heather) and Alicia Robinson (Todd); and great grandson, Charles Bryant Robinson. She was predeceased by her dogs, Governor Dean, Senator Fritz, Mr. Roberts and Katie. Special thanks to Earnestine Reed.
