Margie Higgins Davis

Born on May 10, 1943 in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Austin Logan Higgins and Mable Heath. She graduated from USC with a B.S. degree in Biology and an Associates degree in Secretarial Science/Medical. She had a passion for reading, playing cards, learning new things, and spending time with her loved ones. She was a very talented artist and a collector of many things. She was a woman of many talents and was always willing to give a helping hand and a listening ear. She loved her family unconditionally especially her grands and great-grands.

She is survived by her brother, Larry Higgins (Jane), her son Brian Alexander Davis, and daughter, Autumn LaDawn Davis; grandchildren, Renee Krantz, Robin Russell (Jason), Alexandrea Davis (Kevin), and Logan Davis; great-grandchildren, Kerrington, Jackson, Hunter, Sabastian, Kholton, Madelynn, and Konner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 30, 2023 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2023, at the funeral home.
