
COLUMBIA Funeral service for Mary Frances Harrell, 92, will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Cedar Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery in upper Richland County. Visitation will be held from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Mrs. Harrell died Saturday, July 4, 2015. Born on November 16, 1922, in the Cedar Creek Community of upper Richland County, she was a daughter of the late Boyd J. and Kathleen DuBard Eargle. For over 50 years, she and her husband were owners of A.A. Harrell Jewelers in Five Points. She was a life-long member of Cedar Creek United Methodist Church and a member of the Executive Club. Surviving are her sisters, Margaret Gardner of Blythewood, Julie Hendrix (Raymond) of Columbia; special nephews, Boyd Hendrix (Ann), Tony Harrell; nieces, Patty Rei, Karen Jones, Cheryl Harrell; great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Archie Albert Harrell. We extend our deepest gratitude to Palmetto Health Hospice and Wildewood Downs for their compassionate care of our sister, with a special thank you to caregiver, Mrs. Emma McNeal.
