COLUMBIA - A graveside service for Phyllis June Mikeal, 95, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mrs. Mikeal died Thursday, December 3, 2020. She was born in Saint Cloud, FL on September 22, 1925. A Navy military officer’s wife, she was the widow of the late Roman Ronald Lewinski. She worked as a Librarian in Alcorn Middle School until she retired. Phyllis was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing Bridge. She was a member of St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church.
Surviving are her sons, Stephen Mikeal (Yancy Harling) of Columbia, SC and Mark Mikeal (Sherry) of Lancaster, SC; and grandsons, William Mikeal of Greenwood, SC and Evan Mikeal of Columbia, SC.
