

Born in Georgetown, SC, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Harrell and Nathalie Jacobs Harrell.
Reba was a graduate and Salutatorian of Pleasant Hill High School in 1951. After high school she moved to Charleston to attend Rice Business College to study shorthand and start a new life. It was there she met her loving husband of 62 years, Richard Cornfoot.
Reba took on a new role of military wife after her marriage in 1956 and traveled the world from Duluth Minnesota to Okinawa Japan. They would eventually return to the states and settle in Surfside Beach, SC.
Reba was known for her love of bowling as well as her volunteer efforts for Family Services on the Myrtle Beach Airforce base and The Red Cross of SC. She was a teacher’s assistant at Lakewood Elementary School and enjoyed helping children with reading and math. She also worked for Kerrison's Department Store.
After her husband’s death in 2018, Reba enjoyed the assisted living life at Inlet Oaks in Murrells Inlet, where she would play Bingo, appear in fashion shows and model for facility brochures. She remains a member of Shepherd of the Sea Lutheran Church in Garden City, SC. Eventually she would move to Oakleaf Village in Lexington where she lived out the remainder of her days close to her daughter.
Reba was pre-deceased by her husband Richard Cornfoot, son Allan Cornfoot, and brothers Jimmy, Bubba, Leroy, D.A. and Junior Harrell of Hemmingway, SC.
Surviving are her daughter, Doris Lynn Cornfoot and brother, Levoid Harrell of Columbia, SC, brother Arnold Harrell; and sister, Birdie Avant of Hemmingway, SC.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday October 18th, 2025 at Hillcrest Cemetery, Conway, SC. A reception will follow the service, details to be announced.
