Robert Francis Zammiello

COLUMBIA - A memorial service for Robert “Rock” Francis Zammiello, 69, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 28, 2015, at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family. Mr. Zammiello passed away peacefully Monday, December 21, 2015. Born in Charlotte, NC, he was a son of the late Rocco Francis and Martha Forney Zammiello. He received a degree from Catawba College and was later stationed in Germany while serving in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Zammiello spent most of his career in real estate. Surviving are his loving wife, Paula; children, Robert Carter Holleman, Jr. (William Mickelson), Diana Leigh Howard (Chris), Lisa Marie Miller (Jerry), Christopher Lee Zammiello (Courtney), Robert Francis Zammiello, Jr.; five grandchildren; sister, Sissy Rangeley; and a host of loving friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Jay. The family wishes to thank the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for their diligent care. In lieu of flowers, Rock has requested that memorials be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
