On the day of my retirement in March 2020, Sam and I sat in my office talking about our years as colleagues and friends. We talked about his anticipated marriage to Karin and their life together. Unimaginably, less than a year later, my friend is gone. Truly, life is a fragile, precious, fleeting gift, but fortunately our lives will always be richer and fuller for having known him.

I have worked for Sam for 2 years. I loved to hear his laugh, and he was always completely honest about what he thought of something. He said when he thought I had done a great job, and when I needed to "go back to the whiteboard". Really good managers are so treasured.
I send thoughts and prayers to his family and other relations.

Sam was a great guy! He was so well liked by so many! I will never forget his personal kindness to me throughout the years we worked together. I like to think Sam caught a glimpse of heaven and ran into the Father's arms! May God comfort his wife, his mother, and his family!

Sam was just a genuinely nice guy to work. I have been praying for him for the past month and will continue to pray for his family during this difficult time. Seeing other's comments and memories of Sam makes me realize what a fun loving friendly man Sam was and we were all lucky to have known him. He will be greatly missed by many people.

I am grateful for Sam as he hired me to come to work with his team 4 years ago. I came to know Sam as a great boss and coworker. He would always roll up his sleeves and help us get the job done. Sam had a great heart for others. We both liked having a checklist to make sure the job was complete. We both shared our love for our pets. We surely will miss him. I know he is now loving on Cowboy in heaven.

Sam, it has been a pleasure working so closely with you at the DDS these last 20 years. I learned a lot from you systems wise and we got along so well. You were more than a peer/co-worker, you were a good friend. You are healed and at peace my friend.
To Karin and the Hamilton family, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalms 46:1
Blessings,
V
