COLUMBIA Funeral service for Shelby Jean Nunn, 76, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2014, at North Trenholm Baptist Church, with burial in Memorial Gardens of Columbia. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is in charge. Mrs. Nunn died Sunday, November 2, 2014. Born in Dover, Tenn., she was a daughter of the late Henry Haskell and Bertha Kent Melton. She worked with preschool children and was a member of North Trenholm Baptist Church, where she was very involved with intercessory prayer ministry. Surviving are her son, Dale Nunn of Columbia and a sister, Eleanor Rogers of Tenn. She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Dean Nunn and a son, Mark Dean Nunn.
