COLUMBIA - A graveside service for Thelma “T” Smith Salley, 100, will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 4, 2019 in St. George Cemetery in St. George, SC. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, is assisting the family.
Mrs. Salley passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019. Born in St. George on December 18, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Holcombe Smith and Alma Kizer Smith. Thelma retired as a registered nurse in Charleston. She was a member of Cherokee Place United Methodist Church in North Charleston.
Surviving are her sons, Robert “Bob” Salley of Columbia and Gerald “Jerry” Salley and his wife, Pat of Charlotte, NC; grandsons, Rob Salley and his wife, Wendy of Prosperity, SC, David Salley of Columbia and Chris Salley of Stallings, NC; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Wilton Wilson Salley; three brothers; and one sister.
